ORIGINAL PAINTING INFORMATION
This is a mixed media artwork depicting the stunning Cameron Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park. This is one of my favourite places to visit. I have kayaked to the end and back a couple times and hope to be able to do it a few more times. This lake is nestled deep in the Rockies which makes it a peaceful sanctuary from everyday life.
This artwork is both wood burned and acrylic painted on a piece of pine would that is roughly 7.25×11 inches.
This art is made to order. The processing time is 3-4 weeks from the order date. However, it is usually finished and shipped sooner than that. If you are worried about it arriving by a certain date, just contact me and we can arrange the details.
Larger versions of this can be made upon request. Just contact me for more info on that!
My process to make these pieces is as follows:
Draw on the lines with pencil
Burn in the lines with a wood-burning tool
Paint in the spaces with acrylic paint
Burn the edges of the wood with a torch
Seal the piece with a clear gloss covering
